Elsa Esturgie - The Atelier

To have the opportunity to visit the Parisienne studio of the fabulous Elsa Esturgie was joy. Elsa graduated from the prestigious ‘ecole nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs and developed her first collection in 1996.

Her design process is very organic with the material as the starting point of all her collections: “i love to approach a new piece of clothing by the textile itself, manipulating the fabric, exploring the natural materials like cotton, silk, and wool.”

We discovered this beautiful brand when we first opened over 3 years ago and were proud to be her first stockist in Australia. We continue to showcase this beautiful, timeless, elegant, sophisticated yet playful brand and look forward to every season. Her pieces are contemporary and minimalist and reflect a neutral colour palette making it a wardrobe staple that can be added to season to season. Her beautiful atelier is nestled in the serene and environment of the cité durmar, a very pretty and paved alley shared between a lot of other artisans who have settled their own ateliers there - you cant help but be inspired.
